ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਘੁੱਦਾ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੱਗਭਗ 25 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਥ ਤੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ-ਬਾਦਲ ਰੋਡ ’ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਘੁੱਦਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ 2011 ਵਿਚ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਗਰਾਂਟਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ 11ਵੀਂ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਹੋਈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਕਾਂਸਟੀਚੂਐਂਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਬਲਾਕ, ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਬਲਾਕ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਲਾਇਬਰੇਰੀ, ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਲੈਬਾਰਟਰੀਆਂ, ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖੇਡ ਮੈਦਾਨ, ਜ਼ਿਮਨੇਜ਼ੀਅਮ ਹਾਲ, ਓਪਨ-ਏਅਰ ਥੀਏਟਰ, ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਵਾਂ ਹੋਸਟਲ, ਕੰਟੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆ-ਭਰਿਆ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਦੇ ਉਚਤਮ ਮਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਚ ਦੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਆਫ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਸਕੂਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ
ਬਿਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. (2ਆਰ ਐਂਡ ਵੀ
ਸੁਕਾਅਡਰਨ)ਦਾ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੂਗੋਲਿਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਚੌਗਿਰਦਾ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਦੇ ਦੁਮੇਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀ.ਏ,
ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ., ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ. (ਨਾਨ-ਮੈਡੀਕਲ), ਬੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ., ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ., ਐਮ. ਏ. (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ), ਅਤੇ ਐਮ. ਏ. (ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ) ਦੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ
ਹਨ। 2011 ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ
ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ, ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ.(2ਆਰ ਐਂਡ ਵੀ ਸੁਕਾਅਡਰਨ), ਯੁਵਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਆਦਿ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਾਲੀਆ ਸਥਾਨ
ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਲੋਂ, ਪੇਂਡੂ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਸਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਇਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੀਸਾਂ
ਮੁਕਾਬਲਤਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਲਗਭਗ 450 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ
ਵਿਚ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਉੱਚ ਯੋਗਤਾ
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ
ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Punjabi University College, Ghudda is one of the constituent Colleges affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala under the 11th planning scheme of UGC (University Grants Commission). It is situated in a remote area of village Ghudda which is 25 km away from Bathinda towards Badal-Bathinda Road. Located in the vicinity of Central University of Punjab and Sports School, Ghudda, the College is spread over an area of 14 acres. The College premises comprises of three academic blocks, one administration block, sports stadium, a big library, an open air theatre, lush green lawns, canteen and a hostel for girls. The College is well linked by road with Bathinda city and nearby villages. With special permission PRTC runs two buses especially for the students from bus stand, Bathinda to College gate. The College is working leaps and bounds to improve these services further.
First session of the College started in 2011. The College offers B.A., B. Com., B.Sc. (Non-Medical), B.C.A., P.G.D.C.A., M.A. (Punjabi) and M.A. (Political Science) courses as of now. The College is also bound to involve students in co-curricular activities like Seminars, Conferences, Sports meets, Youth festivals, NSS, NCC, Community Service, etc.
Punjabi University College, Ghudda is equipped with qualified and competent faculty. Teachers keep on participating in various Seminars and Conferences to update themselves. There are numerous articles and research papers to the credit of faculty members. In-charge of the College is Dr. Ravinder Singh (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Punjabi).
