ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੌਮੀ
ਸੇਵਾ ਯੌਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ 2012 ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੋਇਆ
ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ-ਮੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਦੇ 1.5 ਯੂਨਿਟ ਹਨ। ਵਿਭਾਗ
ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਰੈਲੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕੈਂਪ, ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕੈਂਪ, ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਆਦਿ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਏਡਜ਼ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਰੈਡੱ-ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ
ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
National
Service Scheme (NSS)
The College
NSS wing was started in the year 2012 and has been a great success since then.
The wing comprises one and half units of NSS volunteers. Both boys as well as
girls participate in various NSS activities. This wing organises various one
day camps, Blood donation camps and events along with a seven days day-night
camp which helps in the overall development of the volunteers. A “Red Ribbon
Club” has also been established along with NSS wing to spread awareness
regarding social evils like AIDS and drug addiction. “Red Ribbon Club”
organises awareness rallies and other events to achieve its goal.

ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚ
ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. (ਆਰ.ਐਂਡ ਵੀ.) ਦਾ ਇਕ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚ 50 ਕੈਡਿਟ ਹਨ। ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੇ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਨਿਯਮਿਤ
ਡਰਿੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੈਂਪ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਵਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ
ਤਿੰਨ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਰਿਪਬਲਿਕ-ਡੇ (R.D.) ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਨਵੀਂ
ਦਿੱਲੀ, ਲਈ ਰਾਖਵੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ
ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਘੋੜਸਵਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰਿਪਲਿਕ ਡੇ
ਪ੍ਰੇਡ ਕੈਂਪ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ
ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਜਿੱਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
National
Cadet Corps (NCC)
The College
has a unit of NCC comprising 50 cadets. The cadets are given training under the
able guidance of army personnel. There are three seats reserved for the College
cadets in the Republic Day Ceremony annually held in New Delhi. Apart from the
basic training the cadets are taught equestrian techniques also.

ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ-ਮਾਪੇ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ
ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਬਾਡੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ
ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਵੰਤ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਇਸ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਮਕਸਦ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਲ ਲਈ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ-ਜੋਲ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਅਤੇ
ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮ-ਨਿਰਭਰ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ
ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਸੂਤਰ ਹੈ।
Parents
Teacher Association (PTA)
Since the
inception of the College, “Parents Teachers Association” (PTA) has been
established for the holistic development and constructive working of the
College. The general body members of the PTA comprises of students, parents and
teachers. The basic aim of the PTA is to develop healthy and trustworthy
relationship among students, teachers and parents. Further, the association is
bound to resolve problems of students and help the needy students financially.

ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਤੇ
ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਯੂ.ਜੀ.ਸੀ. ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਗਰਾਂਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
UGC Cell
The College
has been enlisted in 2(f) and 12(B) list of UGC act of 1956. This makes the
College eligible to receive direct grant from University Grants Commission for
its developmental works. A UGC cell has been established to look into such
matters in the College.

ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਡ-ਰੁਚੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੈ। ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ, ਵਾਲੀਬਾਲ, ਐਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ, ਕਬੱਡੀ, ਰਾਇਫਲ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਆਦਿ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੱਕ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
Sports
Considering
the keen interest of students in sports activities, the College facilitates
them for various games in the College campus. The College ground is well
maintained and is a centre of attraction. The College students have acclaimed
laurels at the state as well as national level tournaments in games like
Cricket, Volleyball, Athletics, Kabaddi, Riffle Shooting, Boxing, Basketball,
etc.

The College
has established a separate “Scholarship Cell” for disbursing scholarships which
come under various Central and State Government scholarships scheme for students.
It also acts as a bridge between various NGOs providing financial support and
the needy students of the College.

ਵਿਂਭਾਗ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਵੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ

ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ, ਕਾਵਿ-ਉਚਾਰਨ, ਕੁਇਜ਼, ਚਿਤੱਰਕਾਰੀ, ਰੰਗੋਲੀ ਅਤੇ
ਇਨਸਟਾਲੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾਯੋਗ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਲਿਟੇਰਰੀ
ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਅੰਤਰ-ਖੇਤਰੀ ਯੁਵਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਵਰਆਲ ਟਰਾਫ਼ੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਪੂਰਨੇ
ਪਾਏ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਨੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰ-ਖੇਤਰੀ ਯੁਵਕ-ਮੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ
ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ ਭਾਗ ਦੂਜਾ ਨੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਬੈਸਟ ਐਕਟ੍ਰੈਸ
ਦਾ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਖੇਤਰੀ-ਯੁਵਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੇ ਫਾਈਨ-ਆਰਟਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਚਿਤਰਕਲਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ, ਕਾਰਟੂਨਿੰਗ, ਕੋਲਾਜ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
Youth
Welfare Department
Youth
Welfare Department caters to the co-curricular aspect of the College. It tries
to bring out the hidden talent of students and makes them participate in Youth
Festivals organised by Punjabi University, Patiala as well as other local
organisation like District Youth Welfare Departments time to time. Students
participate in activities such as theatre, poetry recitation, debate,
declamation, song, shabad-gayan, skit, poster-making, photograph, short-film,
quiz, painting, Rangoli, installation, clay-modelling, etc. Apart from these
activities, it also tries to inculcate the cultural know-how among students on
the lines of Punjabi University, Patiala by providing them chance to learn and
participate in activities such as pakhi bunai, khido, tokri, guddiya patole,
phulkari, etc. Within a short span of time University College, Ghudda has made
a mark in various Inter-College as well as Inter- University Youth Festivals
with the help of Youth Welfare Department.

ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਬੁੱਕ-ਕਲੱਬ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ
ਕਲਾ, ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਹਜ ਭਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ
ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਰਵ-ਸੰਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਭਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ
ਕੰਧ-ਪੱਤ੍ਰਿਕਾ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਹਿਤ-ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਬੁੱਕ-ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਾਵਿ-ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ, ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ, ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਆਦਿ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ
ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੁੱਕ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਰੋਕਾਰਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸੰਵਾਦ ਰਚਾਉਣ
ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ।
“Punjabi
Sahit Sabha” and “Vidiyarthi Book Club”
The College
has a literary society under the title “Punjabi Sahit Sabha” for grooming the
intellectual and literary skills of the students and also refine their
socio-cultural outlook. The working committee members of the literary society
are elected out of college students unanimously. The society actively organizes
various literary events like poetry recitation, debate, declamation, etc. Apart
from showcasing their literary creations, Students are also imparted the
knowledge of the art of versification. A “Book Club” has also been established
to help students getting books which they themselves cannot buy. It also
establishes community feeling among students.
ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਲਿਟਰੇਰੀ
ਕਲੱਬ
ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ
ਲਿਟਰੇਰੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ
ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ
ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਰਵ-ਸੰਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਲੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਵਿੱਚ
ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਈ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
English
Literary Club
English
Literary Club has been established in the College by Department of English. It
was established by taking into account the increasing importance of English
language in present day world. The club organises “Grammar Lectures” on weekly
basis taking into care English language needs of students. It also organises an
annual “Literary Quiz” to promote the understanding of literature among students.
Besides, movies related to various popular novels prescribed in the curriculum
of students are also showcased.

ਪੀ.ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ.
ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਡਿਪੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਤੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਬੱਸ-ਸੇਵਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ
ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੈੱਲ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਬੱਸ-ਪਾਸ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ
ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
Bus Pass
Cell
A special
bus service from Bathinda bus stand to Punjabi University College, Ghudda is
being provided by Punjab Government. To provide hassle free service of bus
pass, a separate “Bus Pass cell” has been established in the College. It also
deals with various problems encountered by students in transport and commuting.
